- Go on Vacation.
- Buy new tires for your car.
- Get the front-end axle fixed on the same car.
- Buy a new water heater.
- Buy new pipes to attach said water heater to the main house pipes.
By now, your tax return should be just about gone. Good thing you went on vacation first, so it's too late to feel bad about spending that money when everything in sight seems to be breaking.

LOL. I know the feeling...
Mine went a little something like this:
-pay mortgage
-buy year membership to kung fu
-build a loft bed to fulfill childhood dream
Tax return money just doesn't seem to stretch as far as it should, in retrospect. Good thing you went on vacation first! :)
Two days after our tax return got deposited the dishwasher started leaking. I know the feeling.
We just got ours done, looks like the whole amount and maybe more gets to go to a new roof. I guess that is what you get when you buy a fixer upper.
